The current standard in the cable harness production
for the automotive industry requires the just-in-time
and just-in-sequence delivery of complex harnesses
in lots of different variants.
Customer-specific harnesses are nowadays mostly
composed of function-related or production-related
modules which are normally prefabricated and than
assembled in accordance with the customers' orders.
It is the supplier's task to ensure that the correct
technical states of the individual modules are being
used and that changes are considered and worked
in promptly. The supplier can only meet these expec-
tations if he can rely on tools that guarantee a fast
and secure conversion of construction data into
production-geared data. Our CableCaT is such a
powerful and efficient tool.
CableCaT is based on state-of-the-art technology.
It is
the first program for the harness production to conse-
quently use Microsoft's .NET-platform. As an additional
feature CableCaT works with lots of different languages.
Ready-made product versions and documentations are
available in German and English.
We offer CableCaT in modules (basis module and addi-
tional extra modules). That means that our customers only
have to pay for what they really need, while extensions
can easily be made at any time.
